YallaReady: a digital pager for cafés, bakeries and fast food in Tunisia
Shouting order numbers is loud, gets lost in the music and leaves the coffee going cold. YallaReady replaces buzzers and shouted numbers with the customer's own phone: it rings the moment staff tap Ready. We built it, and we run it.
How it works
The customer scans
A QR poster at the counter opens a web page. They type the ticket number from their receipt. There is no app to install and no account to create.
They sit back
They follow the order live on their phone, or in Apple Wallet on iPhone.
One tap, it rings
At the counter, staff tap Ready next to the number. The customer's phone vibrates and rings, and they come to collect.
What YallaReady does
- Works on iPhone and Android
- iPhone customers get an Apple Wallet pass with a lock-screen alert. Android customers get web notifications.
- A counter screen on any tablet or phone
- Orders appear on their own. Staff tap a number when it is ready, on a device the shop already owns. Native counter apps are available for iPhone and iPad, with an Android app in progress.
- An owner space
- Rush hours, notification delay, team members and a printable QR poster, all from a phone.
- Tunisian Arabic, French and English
- Customers see the shop's own language. Tunisian Arabic is the default, with right-to-left layout.
- Privacy by design
- No customer name, phone number or account. Alert data is deleted when the order ends, and there are no advertising trackers.
Made for counter-service businesses
- Cafés
- Bakeries and pastry shops
- Fast food and snack bars
- Self-service restaurants and tea rooms
